Why you don’t want cheap Botox?

Why you don’t want cheap Botox?

Why you don’t want cheap Botox?

With Botox and aesthetic treatments becoming more and more popular, it is inevitable that “special deals” or discount offers will pop up here and there. While these might seem like a tempting offer, they should be avoided.
While Botox has been used for over twenty years for cosmetic purposes, Botox injections are still a medical procedure, and as such words like “discount”, “half price” or “3 for 2” have no business being associated with it. This is your face we are talking about after all. Cheap is not a word you want associated with your face.

Why cheap Botox isn’t worth is?

We see a lot of patients at Visage Clinic who have previously availed of these so called special offers at other clinics, and invariably the feedback we get from them is that they are not happy with the results. They are dissatisfied with the effect of the Botox and how long it lasts.
At Visage Clinic we don’t have the lowest prices for Botox in Cork, nor do we want to. But because of the large number of patients we treat , we can afford to be very competitively priced at €300 for three areas of Botox. We adhere to strict medical protocol and manufacturer guidelines when it comes to dosage and to patient follow up.

What does Botox treatment involve?

All our patients fill out a detailed medical history and have a consultation with the treating doctor prior to treatment. The treatment itself involves a series of small and painless injections in the areas of the face that are being treated.

What areas of the face are treated with Botox?

For the purpose of Botox treatments the face is divided into three areas. The upper forehead, the lower forehead and the area around the eyes (the so-called crows feet).

How long does Botox take to work?

Botox takes four to five days to start to work, it can take up to ten days to start to work in some people, the maximum effects are seen after two weeks. Botox lasts three months. We see all our patients back after two weeks for review and if at that stage they required any additional Botox in a particular area, then it is provided at no additional cost.
We are a patient and results centred clinic. Patient satisfaction is at the core of our philosophy in Visage Clinic. We look after each and everyone of our patients as if they were our only patient. We want to give you the best and most natural looking results possible, and we want you to return.

How long do I have to wait to get my Botox treatment?

We have availability six days a week, from Monday to Friday from 6pm to 9pm,and Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. This is unmatched by any other clinic in Cork. We aim to accommodate you, the patient at a time, and on a day that suits your busy schedule. At Visage Clinic there is no waiting around for a month, or six weeks until the doctor comes back to Cork again. Just contact us and we will arrange a prompt appointment at a time and on a day that suits you.
Discounts and special offers have their place, but not when it comes to aesthetic treatments. Think carefully before you chose where to get your Botox done. Do some research online, check out the clinic’s website and read reviews. You can find more information about Visage Clinic and Botox treatments on our website: www.visage.ie
